Rare shirt. Romario had shirts made to mark his goals tally from 995 upto 1000. This one was number 999, so this would have been worn for his 999th goal. He did have a few of each made though, so I cannot be sure if it was a worn one or spare. In addition, Romario had his name on the back of his shirts, which was unique to him as all the other players just had standard numbered shirts. You can see in this photo the 999 Goles badge. Normally I would have received the shirt signed, but this really should not have found its way to me, so it was not wise trying to get it signed.
